That’s a hell of a list!

The 67 Riv? Really? I’m curious as to why.

The FWD 67 Eldo was much better looking and, oddly, on the same E Body platform.

I prefer the styling over the similar Eldo and Toronado. I like the 430 Wildcat over the older nailheads. I also think it’s cool that it’s the RWD of the three, rarely ever seen or talked about, and I freaking love the way the particular way the headlamps flip on this model. Plus I think it’s the one that takes the best to modernizing the style without being killed by other classic car guys.

Nope, just too much for me. I literally only care for the the 67 and can live with the 66. No boat tails or tank bodies for me.

No one questions the IMPERIAL.

That’s not a Riviera. It’s a 1970 Imperial coupe. I’d love to own one in the next 10 years.

Oh thank goodness, I was wondering how come I’ve never seen the style of Riviera! Freaked me out. It looks like it could be a bombshelter. That would be an intimidating vehicle anywhere.

Good points. The 430 was a huge improvement over the Nailheads. The Variable Pitch “ST400” trans was still there though.

I never took to the styling but I can’t judge as the Dodge Omni and 71-73 Mustangs are my favorite cars.

It’s also RWD and came with a 440 with a wedge head design, rather rare for its time. Automatic only though.

Ouch! Man, I just don’t get that Riv.

The 66-70 and 77-78 Rivs were just ugly to me. Even the Boat Tails needed some help to look good.

The Eldo on the other hand.. The Eldo stayed clean and simple until 1971. Then GM went Boss Hogg on them..

The nice thing is back then you could choose between the different divisions and pick the one you liked.

Maybe I’m crazy, But I’ve always thought those old Rivies are one of the best looking cars GM ever made.
